Céu Gonçalves

Céu Gonçalves currently serves as the Plant Manager at BMI Group, where responsibilities include coordinating daily plant activities, managing staff and production, overseeing safety and quality compliance, and implementing cost control measures based on Lean philosophy. Previous experience includes a role as Geological Engineer – Quarry Manager, managing quarry operations to meet production targets while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Prior to BMI Group, Céu worked as Geology and Environmental Manager at Calcidrata, S.A., focusing on environmental management systems and safety management. Educational qualifications include a degree in Geological Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and various certifications in occupational health and safety management.
