Guna Semjonova

Guna Semjonova is an accomplished Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at Rīga Stradiņš University, where Guna leads a project focused on smart textile solutions for injury prevention in young football players. Guna also contributes as a Scientific Researcher and Course Developer after receiving a scholarship from the Boris and Inara Teterev Foundation to develop a Master's degree course in Smart Technologies in Rehabilitation. In addition to academic roles, Guna serves as an Independent Expert Reviewer for BMJ and a Volunteer with Cochrane, while being an active board member and developer for the MSK Physiotherapy subgroup of the Latvian Physiotherapists' Association. With extensive experience in physiotherapy at various clinics and previous teaching positions at Rīga Stradiņš University, Guna combines a robust academic background with practical clinical expertise. Currently, Guna is pursuing a PhD at Rīga Stradiņš University, building upon a solid educational foundation in health sciences and physiotherapy from various esteemed institutions.
