Austin Reid

Austin Reid is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior Cyber Threat Researcher at BMO Financial Group since March 2022. Prior to this role, Austin contributed to the Bank of Canada over a twelve-year period, holding positions such as Detection Engineering Lead and Technical Team Lead in Security Assurance, where responsibilities included enhancing business lines' cybersecurity resilience. Austin's experience also encompasses various roles at FreeBalance, Bell Canada, and Bell Security Solutions, beginning in 2005, with a foundational education from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology completed in 2005.
