Carl Gomes

Carl Gomes is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in financial services. Currently serving as CIO for Finance & ERPM Technology and CIO for Market Risk & Corporate Treasury at Bank of Montreal since April 2012, Carl Gomes previously held the position of Managing Director for FICC Technology. Prior experience includes roles at CIBC World Markets from May 2006 to April 2012 as Director of Application Support Services for Global Derivatives Technology and Cash Equities Technology, where Carl Gomes managed a team responsible for application support for Cash Equities. Earlier, from December 2002 to April 2006, Carl Gomes served as an Application Support Consultant for Cash Equities Technology at CIBC, providing direct support to the trading desk. Carl Gomes obtained a degree from the University of Toronto Scarborough between 2000 and 2004.
