Francis Roy

Francis Roy is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at BMO Investments Inc. since September 2021, Francis has previously held the position of Senior Enforcement Counsel at the Mutual Fund Dealers Association from April 2009 to September 2021. Prior legal experience includes roles as a lawyer at Heenan Blaikie from January 2007 to March 2009 and at Gowling WLG from September 2003 to January 2007. Francis holds an L.L.B. in Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, completed between 2000 and 2003, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Finance and International Management from the University of Ottawa, attained from 1996 to 2000.
