Glen de Freitas

Glen de Freitas has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Director of Governance & Controls, Valuation Product Control, Market Risk at BMO Financial Group since May 2007. In addition to this role, Glen has held positions as Director of Governance, Reporting & Issues Management for AML and Regulatory Compliance, and Director of Operational Risk Management within Capital Markets. Previously, Glen was Managing Director in the Corporate Audit Division focused on Capital Markets. Before joining BMO Financial Group, Glen served as Principal at the Audit & Assurance Standards Board for CPA Canada from July 2002 to April 2007. Glen holds a CPA - CA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and is a Fellow of the ACCA in the United Kingdom.
