Andrew Blackmore-Wells

Andrew Blackmore-Wells has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Andrew is currently the Head of International Compliance at BMS Group since 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Global Risk and Compliance Officer at Thomas Miller from 2022 to 2023, and as the Risk and Compliance Manager from 2020 to 2021. Andrew also held the position of Head of Risk and Compliance at Titlesolv and Only Pets Cover Ltd, both from 2019 to 2020.

Their earlier roles include working as the Compliance Director for Western Europe at Willis Towers Watson for seven years, managing a team of 16 staff remotely across Europe and handling various compliance responsibilities. Before that, they worked as a Compliance Officer at Barbon Insurance Group Ltd for four years and as a Commercial Manager at Bluefin for two years. Andrew also has experience as a Company Director at Savage & Bullock Ltd and as a Commercial Underwriter at AXA.

Andrew Blackmore-Wells completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Science & Education (Primary) from the University of Chichester in the years 1993-1997. Prior to that, they attended Seaford College from 1981-1984. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Practitioner - Compliance certification from the International Compliance Association in 2005.
