Alison Smart is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and communications within various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Director at Probable Futures and Global Responsible Leader at BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, Smart promotes responsible leadership and sustainable development. Previous roles include Senior Fellow for Communications and Vice President of Strategy & Advancement at Woodwell Climate Research Center, as well as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Zeiterion Performing Arts Center. Smart held pivotal positions in development and marketing at the New Bedford Whaling Museum and has experience in the arts through roles at the Norton Museum of Art, Ballet Gamonet, and Jerry Herman Ring Theatre. Alison Smart earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from the University of Miami and completed coursework for a Master's in Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
