Diane Humphrey began their career in customer service. Diane worked as a customer service representative for RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center from September 2015 to October 2015. In this role, they made outbound calls to members regarding their membership, updated existing customer information, and documented all call information.

Diane Humphrey then transitioned into the role of an admission specialist at Saint Peters University from November 2017 to October 2020. In this role, they evaluated the academic credentials of first year and transfer applicants, checked for completeness of applications, and processed applications. For first year applicants, they reviewed high school transcripts for specific required courses and advanced coursework, and checked for and posted standardize test scores. For transfer applicants, they "translated" transferable academic coursework from previous institutions using that institution's course descriptions and the UGA catalog, and posted credit to the applicant's permanent record. Diane Humphrey also updated files when new academic credentials were submitted, provided support for admissions events, and completed daily/weekly work responsibilities such as mail, phone coverage, and general office support.
