Rolf Peterson is an experienced safety management professional with a strong background in emergency response and fire safety. Currently serving as a Safety Manager at BMWC Constructors since August 2015, Rolf provides site safety management and training for the company’s operations with Flint Hills Resources. Previously held multiple safety and leadership roles at Flint Hills Resources from September 2005 to August 2014, culminating as Fire Chief, where responsibilities included leading safety protocols and emergency response efforts. Rolf’s career also includes significant experience as a Lieutenant with the Hastings Fire Department and Chief Officer for Kurtz Industrial Firefighters, in addition to earlier roles in the glass industry and as a Tank Commander in the US Army. Rolf's educational background includes degrees in Fire Science from Hennepin Technical College and General Studies from Inver Hills Community College, complemented by leadership training from the US Army Non-Commissioned Officer Academy.
