Marcin Szatkowski

Marcin Szatkowski has a range of work experience in the banking and project management fields. Marcin is currently the Director of Business & IT Growth (BIG) Bureau at BNP Paribas Bank Polska, where they are responsible for orchestrating change activities, implementing Agile@Scale, and transforming the bank and IT strategy into actions. Marcin also heads the Central Standards & Data Quality, BRP Masters, and Program Managers teams. In their previous role at BNP Paribas, they were the Director of Bank E-Transformation Program, overseeing the automation of bank processes and the implementation of digital processes.

Prior to their time at BNP Paribas, Marcin worked at Fortis Bank as a Projects Portfolio Manager & Project Manager and at Dominet Bank as a Project Manager. Marcin also had experience at Rodan Systems S.A as a Consultant and Project Manager.

Marcin Szatkowski obtained a Master's degree in Tourism and Recreation from Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. Józefa Piłsudskiego w Warszawie from 2002 to 2007. Marcin pursued post-graduate studies in Databases at WIT Academy from 2007 to 2008, and later in IT Project Management at the University of Warsaw from 2008 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Marcin earned various qualifications such as Scrum Master Certified (SMC), Agile Project Management Certifications, Leading with empathy, and others from reputable institutions like Harvard Business Publishing and APMG International.
