Jean-Baptiste Monnier is an experienced actuarial professional currently serving as Deputy Chief Actuary Officer and Head of ALM and Savings Pricing at BNP Paribas Cardif since July 2017. Previously, Jean-Baptiste held the position of Senior Manager in Insurance and Quantitative Finance at PwC France, focusing on business development, project management, team management, and research in computational finance from April 2014 to June 2017. Jean-Baptiste has also contributed to the Solvency II project as a member of the Internal Models Committee at EIOPA and as an internal models expert at the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel. Additional roles include quantitative research and statistical-arbitrage trading at J.P. Morgan and Endeavour Capital Management. Jean-Baptiste earned a PhD in Financial Statistics from Université Paris Cité and multiple master's degrees, including applied mathematics and economics from CentraleSupélec and financial economics from LSE.
