Max Raphael Sobroza Marques

Max Raphael Sobroza Marques is an experienced technical lead and data scientist with a strong focus on machine learning and natural language processing. Currently serving at BNP Paribas Cardif since December 2019, Max has held multiple roles, including Technical Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Data Scientist, leading projects involving transformers-based models, inference-time optimization, and state-of-the-art speech-to-text technologies. Previous experience includes a PhD candidacy at Télécom Bretagne with research on neural networks, co-founding OSO-AI, and working on machine learning applications for legal texts at PREDICTICE. Max holds a PhD in Computer Science from IMT Atlantique and multiple degrees in engineering and telecommunications from prestigious institutions.
