Aleksandr Golender

Aleksandr Golender, MBA, CPA, currently serves as the US head of tax compliance at BNP Paribas since November 2022. With extensive experience in tax management, Golender previously held the position of Tax Director at Credit Suisse from May 2016 to November 2022, and Tax Senior Manager at EY from April 2013 to May 2016. Key responsibilities have included coordinating the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, overseeing US tax provisions under US GAAP and IFRS, managing large outsourcing engagements, conducting tax research, and representing clients in tax audits. Earlier roles included Tax Manager at Commerzbank AG and Deloitte Tax LLP, as well as Accounting Analyst at IBM. Golender obtained an MBA in Accounting from Pace University - Lubin School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from Hunter College.
