Patrick Bader

Patrick Bader is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Currently serving as the EU Taxonomy Coordinator for BNP Paribas since September 2021, Patrick raises awareness about the EU Taxonomy's impact on the bank's various financial services and represented BNP Paribas on the European Union Platform on Sustainable Finance. Prior to this role, Patrick was the Director of Climate at the French Banking Federation, managing the newly created Climate Commission. Patrick's extensive career at BNP Paribas, spanning over 28 years, included creating the CSR team within Corporate and Institutional Banking and holding various positions in project finance and structured debt across regions such as EMEA and Singapore. Patrick's academic background includes degrees from École nationale des ponts et chaussées and Collège des Ingénieurs.
