Philippe Birebent

Philippe Birebent is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in project finance and asset management. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Asset & Export Finance for the Americas at BNP Paribas since October 2015, Philippe leads a team in structuring financing solutions for various sectors including infrastructure, power, and oil & gas across North America and Latin America. Prior to this role, Philippe held the position of Managing Director for Power, Infrastructure & Project Finance at BNP Paribas CIB, specializing in major projects in Latin America. Philippe's expertise in project finance extends back to a Lead Investment Officer role at the Inter-American Development Bank and earlier positions at Credit Lyonnais, focusing on infrastructure projects in Europe and Asia.
