Xavier Paquet

Xavier Paquet is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Global Rates Trading Business Manager for America at BNP Paribas since March 2010. In this role, Xavier oversees regulatory issues, risk management, business development, and the implementation of trading tools while ensuring adherence to best practices and procedures. Prior experience includes managing fixed income treasury projects, collateral and funding, liquidity management, and regulatory reporting, alongside earlier roles as a developer in risk and P&L for fixed income products. Xavier started the career at Oreka as a developer for France's first free Internet provider. Academic qualifications include a degree from Nantes Université, completed in 2000.
