Austin Breakell

Austin Breakell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in workforce management and procurement. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Contingent Workforce at BNY since November 2023, Austin has previously held significant positions such as Head of Extended Workforce UK&I and Global Head of Services Procurement Development at AMS from November 2021 to November 2023. Prior to that, Austin worked at Centrica from November 2013 to November 2021, where roles included Head of Procurement - HR & Professional Services and various director-level positions in resourcing and talent development. Additional experience includes an Account Director role at de Poel and over a decade with Hays in roles ranging from Business Director to Client Relationship Director. Austin began a career as a Project Manager at KNW from 1997 to 1999. Austin holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy & Finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 1997.
