Chandra Sunkara

Chandra Sunkara is an experienced executive currently serving as Managing Director at BNY since October 2024. In addition, Chandra is a Board Member at HimJyoti USA, a nonprofit organization focused on poverty reduction and social change, since August 2018. Prior roles include Consulting Architect at BNY PershingX, where Chandra contributed to the development of the #woveplatform from July 2022 to October 2024, and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from February 2017 to January 2021. Chandra's extensive experience also includes a long tenure at Goldman Sachs as Managing Director and Technology Fellow from August 1989 to February 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Pace University.
