Nikhil Batheja

Nikhil Batheja is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive expertise in fintech and strategic investment. Currently serving as Senior Director and Global Head of Open Banking at BNY since May 2023, Nikhil also acts as an Operating Partner at SevenTrain Ventures, where collaboration with fintech firms focuses on identifying growth opportunities. Prior to these roles, Nikhil held various senior positions at J.P. Morgan from April 2019 to May 2023, overseeing API architecture and fintech partnerships while driving strategic initiatives. Nikhil's earlier career at Citi spanned from January 2004 to March 2019, where responsibilities included leading strategy at Citi Ventures and contributing to commercial banking finance and capital markets. Nikhil is an alumnus of New York University.
