Peter Grigg

Peter Grigg currently serves as the Director of Compliance and Control and OFAC/Economic Sanctions Advisory Officer at BNY Mellon, a position held since April 2023. Simultaneously, Peter is a Board Member for the DC Chapter of the Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Citi from August 2012 to April 2023, where roles encompassed Senior Vice President of Global Financial Crimes and OFAC/Sanctions Compliance Risk Management, among others. Earlier career highlights feature volunteer activities as an attorney in the New York State Unified Court System and a legal intern with the Administrative Office of US Courts. Peter's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, complemented by an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Furthermore, a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Psychology was obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
