Richard Gordon

Richard Gordon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and risk management within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of Operations and Managing Director at BNY since June 2023, Richard has previously held similar leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citi, and Deutsche Bank, where responsibilities included Global Head of Securities Services Operations and various COO positions related to risk. Richard began a successful career as a Principal Consultant at Capco and served as a Vice President in Investment Banking Operations at UBS. Prior military experience includes serving as an Officer in the Royal Engineers with specialized roles in diving and explosive ordnance disposal. Richard holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Engineering from Loughborough University and graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
