Mandy Hedges

Mandy Hedges currently serves as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Chair, Usability Specialist, and Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Committee Member at the Board of Certified Safety Professionals since October 2020. In addition, Mandy contributes as a Camera Operator and Graphic Designer for Chapel Hill UMC. Previous experience includes roles such as Field Marketing Coordinator at Appirio, and various positions at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where responsibilities ranged from mentoring in the LiFT Scholars Program to tutoring in mathematics. Early career experience includes internships in app development and web development with the State of Indiana, along with retail experience at Fabletics and student co-op roles at Ben Davis High School. Mandy holds a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a focus on Human Computer Interaction from Indiana University Indianapolis.
