Kristian Sekse

Kristian Sekse is the Chief Operating Officer at Board of Child Care. Kristian has over eight years of experience in event planning and fundraising. Prior to their current position, Kristian was the Director of Development at Cool Kids Campaign, where they oversaw a team of 150+ runners, the Towson Running Festival, the Celebrity Golf Tournament, and the Wind For Change classroom fundraiser (12 schools).

Kristian is known for their work in converting paper records and filing cabinets to digital databases and online forms. Kristian also lowered Cool Kids Campaign's credit card processing rate from 6.5% to 3.0%. In addition to their work with Cool Kids Campaign, Kristian has also redesigned the Holiday Giving Campaign and designed an Ornaments of Hope campaign that engaged hundreds of new donors from various corporate offices throughout Baltimore.

Kristian has a strong commitment to volunteer management. Kristian has provided work experience to a local college student through a semester long internship program and has coordinated all office and event volunteers from the day they sign-up to what their day-of event responsibilities are.

Kristian Sekse has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in marketing and leadership from Loyola University Maryland. They also have a BA in business and economics from The Johns Hopkins University. In addition, Kristian Sekse holds certification from Core Solutions, Inc. in Cx360 System Administrator (Electronic Health Record) and Salesforce in Salesforce Trailhead (Admin Beginner). Finally, they have a Certificate of Completion from Asana.

Their manager is Laurie Anne Spagnola, President & CEO. They work with Kelly Berger - Executive Director of the Caminos Program, Terrell Boston-Smith - Chief Financial Officer, and Kathy Martin - Chief Human Resources Officer.
