Susan Cowan

Susan Cowan has a robust background in finance and leadership, serving as a Member of BoardProspects since 2018. Cowan held the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer at Crohn's and Colitis Canada from October 2020 to May 2021. From 1997 to 2016, Cowan was a Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets, initially leading BMO Debt Capital Markets from 1997 to 2002 and returning to the firm in 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Debt Capital Markets at Midland Walwyn Capital Inc. (1994-1997) and as an Investment Officer for Private Placements at Sun Life Financial from 1984 to 1994. Susan Cowan is an alumnus of the University of Toronto.
