Stella Ford has extensive work experience in the field of development and fundraising. Stella is currently the Associate Vice President of Foundation Relations at BoardSource. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Development at the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they worked at the Miami City Ballet as the School Programs and International Relations Manager from 2014 to 2019. Stella also worked at the Smithsonian Institution as a Major Gifts Officer from 2012 to 2014. Stella has experience in event coordination, as seen through their role as Participant Coordinator at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage in 2012. Additionally, Stella has previous experience as a Tour Coordinator at YOA Orchestra of the Americas from 2010 to 2011, and in various assistant roles at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts from 2006 to 2009.

Stella Ford attended the University of Maryland from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication Studies with a Music minor. Stella then pursued further education at George Mason University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Arts Management.
