Hilde Goorts has over 7 years of experience as a finance manager and accountant. Hilde has worked at companies such as Boats Group, Rheinmetall, IVC Evidensia, Mitie, Müller UK & Ireland Group, Optimas OE Solutions, West Unified Communications Services, and NHS Finance department. Their responsibilities have included tax compliance, VAT returns, month-end journals, monthly reporting, AP, AR, banking, reconciliations, and preparing statutory accounts. Hilde has also collaborated with HR, MDs, buyers, and engineers in developing reports, automating processes, and simplifying supplier invoices. Hilde has been responsible for complex reporting, mapping cost centers, and creating tools for better management decision-making. Hilde has also managed transitions of accounts departments and assisted with systems analysis needed for the upcoming transfer from Oracle to SAP.

In 1985-1987, they earned a certificate in Accounting and Business/Management from CMO business school. Most recently, in 2013-2015, Hilde obtained a Professional qualification in Accounting and Finance from BPP University. In addition to their formal education, Hilde has also completed several certification courses including Excel courses from Udemy in May 2021 and achieving intermediate fluency in Spanish from Duolingo in October 2015.
