Timothy Winstead

Timothy Winstead serves as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Accounting at Bob Jones University since August 2022, previously holding an adjunct faculty position at the same institution. Winstead is also the owner of Winstead CPA, LLC, an accounting firm specializing in tax, accounting, and fractional CFO services, from December 2020 to August 2022. Prior to this, Winstead was President and CFO of Thompson Nursery, Inc., a landscape contracting firm, from May 1988 to November 2020. Winstead began accounting career at McGladrey, progressing from Staff Accountant in Tax to Staff Accountant in Audit. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting with a tax emphasis from Gardner-Webb University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bob Jones University.
