James Rains has extensive experience in both medical technology and academia. Currently serving as the CEO of Jackson Medical since 2017, James Rains also holds a professorship at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where involvement began in 2012. In addition, James Rains has been the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation since 2017. Previous roles include Project Manager for Advanced Technology Development at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics from 2003 to 2012 and Senior Design Engineer at Stryker from 2000 to 2003. James Rains' educational background includes degrees from Purdue University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
