Rahul Jain

Rahul Jain has extensive work experience in various roles related to data engineering, analytics, and software development. Rahul is currently serving as the Principal Engineer at Bobsled, where they are responsible for integrating the company's data sharing platform with different data lake and warehousing platforms. In their previous role as the Head of Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and BI at Beat, Rahul led teams in establishing a strong data and analytics foundation for the ride-sharing business in Europe and Latin America. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Engineering Manager, Business Intelligence at Omio, where they transformed the data engineering architecture and improved the timeliness and reliability of analytics data. Rahul has also worked as a Tech Lead and Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks, assisting a client in creating a pricing decision-making system using big-data tools. Rahul started their career at Credit Suisse as a Senior Analyst and Java Development Lead, where they were involved in developing and maintaining java-based processes for ingesting financial market data. Rahul began their professional journey at Infosys as a Software Developer and Project Lead.

Rahul Jain completed the altMBA program in 2021, focusing on leadership. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, between 1995 and 1999. In addition, Rahul obtained a certification as a Certified Mentor from The Mentoring Club gUG in October 2021.
