Patrick Wong

Patrick Wong has extensive work experience in the finance and insurance industry. Patrick served as the Head of Project Management Department at BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Bank of China (Hong Kong) as the IT Head of Insurance Team from July 2013 to September 2017, and as a Senior IT Manager from January 2010 to June 2013. Patrick also held positions at BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited as a Senior Manager from July 2008 to December 2010, at Cigna as a Senior Manager from July 2000 to July 2008, and at Citi as a Manager from July 1990 to October 2000.

Patrick Wong completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information System Management at City University of Hong Kong from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2006, Patrick Wong obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from City University of Hong Kong. In terms of certifications, they became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 2002, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) in 2003, Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2005, and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) in 2019. Additionally, Patrick Wong also obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2002.
