Akshi Sharma

Akshi Sharma is the current Product Owner at Bocada. Prior to this, they were a Product Manager at Vontas from April 2021 to December 2021. Akshi was also previously a Product Manager at Trapeze Group from May 2019 to April 2021. In this role, they collaborated with thought leaders in the Transit Training Management space to build the first transit-focused Training Management software. Akshi conducted competitive analysis and developed a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive development decisions.

Sharma has a proven track record of building strong relationships and ability to use interpretative skills to understand the prospect’s requirements. Akshi aggressively identifies market opportunities by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. Akshi also synthesizes ideas on strategy, planning and execution of next generation of products.

In their previous roles, Sharma was responsible for the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. This included when to build vs. buy vs partner, or change from one technology to another. Akshi also analyzed key performance metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.

Akshi Sharma has an educational background in business and technology. Akshi has an EMBA from Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA, as well as an EMBA from Schulich School of Business - York University. Akshi also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Centennial College. Her undergraduate degree is in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from Uttar Pradesh Technical University.

Akshi Sharma reports to Matthew Hall, CEO. They work with Brad Hendrix - Senior System Engineer, Ross Morris - VP, Sales, and Laura Davis - Marketing Director.
