Moritz Von Buttlar

Moritz von Buttlar is an experienced professional with a strong background in both scientific research and engineering, currently serving as an Entwicklungsingenieur at ZAITRUS since March 2024. As the owner of LabLab GmbH since January 2018, Moritz specializes in designing scientific instruments with expertise in analog and digital electronics, microcontroller and firmware development, and LabView applications. Additional experience includes a role as a Scientist at ZeitRaumPhotonics GmbH, where work spans the intersections of physics, biology, and electronics. Previous positions include co-founder and Lead Scientist at Clue by Biowink, research projects during self-employment in medical technologies, and research roles at University of Leipzig and Kyushu University. Moritz holds a Diplom in Physics from Universität Greifswald and a Master of Public Policy from HUMBOLDT-VIADRINA School of Governance.
