Ravi Tummala

Ravi Tummala is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as Executive Director of Consumer Engineering at Beachbody since July 2019, Ravi manages talented engineering teams focused on E-commerce systems and Integration APIs. Prior to Beachbody, Ravi held the position of Head of Engineering at Nexstar Digital, leading teams for a cloud-based content management platform geared towards video streaming and radio broadcast. Ravi's extensive career includes roles such as Vice President of Software Development at United Online, Inc., where top-tier technology teams were built to support e-commerce and digital content initiatives, and Director of Technology at Sony, contributing to the development of the Sony Connect Service. As a co-founder and CTO of JTurbo Inc., Ravi conceptualized a new mobile and web-based database connectivity tool, managing significant customer relationships. Ravi's expertise is further highlighted by earlier work at Portal Software Inc. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from George Mason University.
