Dave Sturgeon, MS

Dave Sturgeon, MS has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Dave began their career as the General Manager at Damon's International, where they managed the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and oversaw a team of management staff and employees. Dave then worked as a Systems Engineer at Bodine Electric Company, deploying and maintaining Windows servers and supporting various computer systems.

In 2004, Dave joined Tippecanoe County Government as the Chief Information Officer, where they provided executive leadership and strategic planning for the information technology department. Dave was responsible for overseeing data center operations, application programming and development, technical support, and geographical information systems. Dave held this position until 2018.

Dave also served as a Town Council Member for Battle Ground from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they contributed to local governance and decision-making processes. Simultaneously, they joined the Indiana Government Technology Leaders' Association, where they served as an Executive Board Member and later as the Past President, demonstrating their commitment to the advancement of technology within the government sector.

In 2006, Dave founded Alltek Solutions Group and served as the President until 2019. Under their leadership, the company provided IT solutions and services to businesses.

In 2018, Dave returned to Bodine Electric Company, this time as the Director of Information Technology. Dave was later promoted to the position of Vice President of Information Technology in 2019, where they continue to contribute to the company's IT operations and strategies.

Dave Sturgeon, MS has a diverse education history. Dave first pursued a Technical Certificate in Auto Body Repair from Ivy Tech Community College, completing their studies in 1991. Following this, they attended Loyola University Chicago from 1997 to 2000, obtaining a BBA degree in Information Technology and Management. In 2007, Dave enrolled at Purdue University and completed their Master's of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Information Technology and OLS, in 2009.

In addition to their academic degrees, Dave Sturgeon also holds a Certified Public Manager certification. Dave obtained this certification from The Bowen Center for Public Affairs in February 2016.
