Alice Lai

Alice Lai is a skilled software engineer currently employed at bodo.ai since July 2022, with a strong background in computer graphics as a teaching assistant at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science. Alice has experience as a mapping intern at Waymo, where improvements were made to pose estimation visualization tooling. As a robotics engineer intern at KEF Robotics, Alice researched depth estimation techniques and developed a SLAM backend. Previous roles include contributions at The AIR Lab in parking-spot detection, trajectory generation at Boeing using reinforcement learning, and script development at Carnegie Mellon for signal analysis. Alice also brings experience from Nokia Bell Labs, Rogue Robotics Club, and Primary Systems Inc., with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
