Byron Williamson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Byron has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Starting in 1990, they worked at Florida Power Corp in the DSM Programs role until 1995. Byron then joined Engelhard Power Management as an Analyst from 1996 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Progress Energy as a Supervisor in Product Management for Carolina Power & Light. Moving forward, Byron joined General Electric in 2000 and held multiple roles, including Commercial Operations Leader, Master Black Belt Leader, and eventually Product General Manager for Residential Products from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Bodycote as Vice President Global Marketing for Aerospace, Defense, & Energy Division until 2013. Subsequently, they were Vice President of Operations for Powdermet® and later Vice President of Operations for Hot Isostatic Pressing - North America. In both roles, they focused on growth, profit expansion, and improvements. Currently, Byron is leading the largest provider of specialist Hot Isostatic Pressing services in North America, where they continue to prioritize growth, profit expansion, cost controls, strategic planning, and asset management.
Byron Williamson obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Kettering University in 1989. Byron then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a specialization in Power Systems at Georgia Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1990.
