Lena Onaka

Lena Onaka has been working in operations at Bodyport since October 2018. Prior to that, they were the Volunteer Coordinator at Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Arizona from October 2016 to October 2018. In that role, they were the point of contact for 12,000+ volunteers and managed a CRM system to maintain the volunteer schedule for 25 daily volunteer programs across 11 locations. Lena also developed and led the Volunteer Orientation program, including a volunteer handbook, to educate volunteers in the history, mission, and programs to increase volunteer recruitment, retention, and overall experience. In addition, Lena created monthly programming for Hearts & Hands, a service-oriented community day targeting 500+ youth in the community. Lena also planned and executed volunteer and corporate sponsor events ranging from small-scale orientations to 400 seat luncheons.
