Bill Donegan

Bill Donegan, Ph.D. is a Principal Scientist in Material & Analytical Sciences at Boehringer Ingelheim, where responsibilities include managing a preclinical analytical science group focused on dose formulation stability analysis for new chemical entities, new biological entities, and advanced therapy medicinal products. Previously, Bill served as a Research Scientist at WuXi Advanced Therapies, leading research projects in virology and contributing to the development of novel viral strains. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at Drexel University College of Medicine, Bill characterized interactions between HSV-1 viral factors and mammalian DNA damage response. Bill earned a Ph.D. in Molecular & Cell Biology & Genetics from Drexel University College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Forensic Science from the University of New Haven. Additional professional development includes participation in the HMX Pro online certification program in Drug Discovery and Development at Harvard Medical School.
