Tamer Ibrahim has extensive experience in the medical device industry. Tamer served as the Vice President of Research & Technology at AtriCure, Inc. since 2014. Prior to that, they worked at ESTECH for a significant period of time, where they held the position of Vice President in various roles, including R&D, QA/RA, and Compliance Officer. At ESTECH, Tamer played a pivotal role in the development of endoscopic catheters for minimally invasive treatment of atrial fibrillation, leading to the creation of a ground-breaking cardiac ablation system. Tamer's expertise in disruptive technology and their contributions in accessing new markets have made him a valuable asset in the industry.
Tamer Ibrahim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they attended from 1993 to 1998. Tamer later pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanical Engineering at Stanford University, from 1998 to 1999.
