Ignacio Soler

Ignacio Soler is an accomplished IT Cloud Architect currently working with Boehringer Ingelheim since May 2022 and serving as a Cloud Associate Professor at EAE Business School. With extensive experience as a Big Data Solutions Architect at Zurich Insurance plc and as a Big Data Architect for Cellnex Telecom, Ignacio designed and developed a complex Big Data platform for the Municipality of Barcelona using advanced technologies like HBase, HDFS, Spark, and Cloudera Hadoop. As a co-founder and CTO of ConnecThink, Ignacio led product development, while also co-founding Smart Partners and founding Smart Barcelona to foster innovation and strategic partnerships. Prior roles include heading smart innovation projects at Schneider Electric and leading the Smart Objects Lab at Atos Origin. Ignacio holds a degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
