Lara Crissey

Lara Crissey is an experienced professional in patient advocacy and communications within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Head of Patient Advocacy and Professional Relations for Therapeutics Areas at Boehringer Ingelheim since December 2004. In this role, Lara leads a team responsible for developing and implementing strategies across various therapeutic markets. Lara previously held the positions of Director of Patient Advocacy for Specialty Care and in Oncology at Boehringer Ingelheim, where Lara managed strategic initiatives for oncology products and pipelines. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Public Relations and Communications, where Lara developed strategies to support brand objectives in the cardiovascular and metabolics fields. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Lara worked as Manager of Media Relations at Bayer Healthcare and as Marketing Manager at Pharmedica Ltd. Lara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University.
