Lizanne Pistorius

Lizanne Pistorius is an experienced professional in the fields of patient safety, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as the Head of Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Boehringer Ingelheim since June 2024, Lizanne has previously held senior management roles at Nestlé Health Science and Aimmune Therapeutics, focusing on global patient safety and risk management. Prior to these positions, Lizanne worked at Bausch + Lomb, overseeing pharmacovigilance operations in the UK and Ireland, and began the career as a Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist at PrimeVigilance Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology from Utrecht University and an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
