Parveen Kumar

Parveen Kumar is a Senior Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim since February 2023, with prior experience as an Associate Computational Scientist at The Jackson Laboratory from March 2017 to February 2023. Parveen served as a Visiting Researcher at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute between January 2014 and November 2016 and completed a PhD at KU Leuven, where research spanned from November 2011 to November 2016. Earlier roles include Project Assistant at IGIB focusing on G-Quadruplex and Next Generation Sequencing from September 2009 to September 2011 and conducting an MSc dissertation at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in early 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics from KU Leuven, an MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Madras, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from SRM University.
