Rick Phillips

Rick Phillips, MSc, DVM, MAM, dACPV, serves as the Director of Poultry Professional Services Veterinarians at Boehringer Ingelheim since September 2021. With extensive leadership experience in the food animal production sector, Rick held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Event Horizon Systemation, L.L.C. from December 2019 to September 2021, and previously at Anitox, where executive leadership resulted in significant revenue growth. At Merck Animal Health, Rick managed a $150 million P&L for the US Integrated Production Animal Business Unit and led multiple teams across various roles. Early career roles included Director of Technical Services at Foster Farms and Veterinary Service Manager at Perdue Farms. Rick holds multiple degrees in veterinary and poultry sciences from Louisiana State University, The University of Georgia, and the University of Maine.
