Sarah O'Brien

Sarah O'Brien is a highly experienced immuno-oncology research scientist currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist in Cancer Immunology and Immune Modulation at Boehringer Ingelheim, a position held since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Amgen as Principal Scientist and Scientist, where significant contributions were made to early-stage Discovery Projects aimed at enhancing anti-tumor T cell responses. Additional expertise includes freelance writing for the American Association for Cancer Research and conducting research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University, where a Ph.D. in Immunology was obtained. O'Brien also holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and has served as a consultant and undergraduate research assistant in various academic settings.
