Khanh Nguyen has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2006, they joined the US Navy and served as a Nuclear Machinist Mate, specializing as an Engineering Laboratory Technician until 2012. Khanh then worked at Witron Integrated Logistics as an Electro-Mechanical Technician and Equipment Maintenance Specialist from August 2013 to January 2014. Khanh subsequently joined The Boeing Company in January 2014 as an Operations Quality Engineer, holding the position until October 2016. Khanh then joined Boeing Intelligence & Analytics in October 2016 as a Quality Engineer. Lastly, in August 2018, they started working at Boeing as a C-17 Sustainment Program Quality Engineer, a position they currently hold.

Khanh Nguyen has a diverse education history. Khanh began their education in 2006 at Nuclear A School, Power School, Prototype, & All Volatile Chemistry, where they received a military certification training in Nuclear Reactor Principles, Propulsion, & Auxiliaries. From 2008 onwards, Khanh pursued a military technical certification in Radiological Control through the Radiological Control Technician Qualification program.

In 2011, Khanh attended Excelsior University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology. Khanh then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Green Technologies from the University of Southern California, a program they completed in 2016.

Subsequently, Khanh pursued a Master of Business for Veteran degree at the University of Southern California from 2016 to 2017, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

Throughout their education, Khanh demonstrated an interest in various fields, including nuclear engineering technology, green technologies, and business administration.
