Laura Butterfield

Laura Butterfield has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Laura is currently working as a Product Security Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Software System Engineer Team Manager at SAIC from March 2009 to September 2022. Before that, they worked as an Engineer at Davidson Technologies Inc. from February 2007 to March 2009. Additionally, Laura has experience as a System Engineer at TRW/ Northrop Grumman from March 1999 to February 2007, as an Engineer at COLSA from June 1996 to March 1999, and as an Engineer at TRW from 1992 to 1994.

Laura Butterfield obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Auburn University, where they attended from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) and LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification from CompTIA and the Linux Professional Institute, respectively. Laura also holds the Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Solaris 10 Operating System certification from Oracle. Finally, they have the CompTIA Security+ (2008 edition) certification, which they obtained in December 2010.
