Bob Bernicchi

Bob Bernicchi is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in maintenance and engineering consulting. Since July 2015, Bob has been the Practice Leader at Boeing, overseeing the Maintenance & Engineering Business Consulting team, which delivers valuable services to various aviation sectors including commercial, military, and general aviation. Prior to Boeing, Bob served as Managing Director of Engineering at Alaska Airlines, where responsibilities encompassed aircraft and powerplant reliability and maintenance programs. Bob's aviation career began at United Airlines, where a 20-year tenure included roles such as General Manager and Chief Engineer, overseeing multiple fleets and maintenance facilities. Bob began a career in aerospace with the US Navy Aircraft Rework Facility. Educated at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Bob holds a BS in Aeronautical Engineering and is a full charter member of the Aviation Rulemaking Committee for Airworthiness Directives.
