Bogdan Neculaes

Bogdan Neculaes is a highly experienced engineer and scientist, currently serving as Deputy Chief Engineer and Portfolio Manager for Disruptive Computing, Networks and Sensors at Boeing since January 2024. Previously, at GE Research from 2005 to 2023, Bogdan held several key roles, including Quantum Platform Leader and Principal Scientist, directing R&D strategies across quantum technologies and advanced imaging solutions. Notable achievements include leading a multidisciplinary team that developed a groundbreaking CT imaging prototype and overseeing various R&D portfolios related to X-ray technologies and healthcare innovations. Additionally, Bogdan served as a Scientific Advisor at Santiste Medical Inc., focusing on regenerative medicine platforms, and has a foundational background in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan and a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Columbia University.
